The Freud 1-27/32-Inch Biscuit Joining Router Bit lets you use your router to cut holes to join two pieces of wood together with an oval-shaped, glue-soaked biscuit that swells and bonds the pieces together. This precision-ground carbide bit is made with added titanium, making them impervious to chemical attack. The bit is computer balanced to insure vibration-free operation at speeds that are a safe margin above the typical 22,000 RPMs of most routers. With a shear angle design this bit cut smoothly through material, producing a flawless finish. For use on CNC and other automatic routers as well as hand-held and table-mounted portable routers, this bit cuts all composition materials, plywood, hardwood, and soft wood.
